Let's Turn It Up
Far more time and effort was put into this than any other Accelerators album. One of the things I was determined to do was to spend more time on producing a better vocal sound. A great deal of thought was given to working out the different vocal arrangements for numbers such as Donna Prima Donna and Had To Let You Know and to a lesser extent, Let It Roll. Credit should also be given to Davie B for his outstanding guitar work, along with the recording engineers whose patience and dedication to the job helped us achieve the desired results. I think the finished product is the best we've ever recorded.

Once again the band was more than capably backed up by the red hot rhythm section of Steve Cunningham on doghouse bass and Marty Cassidy on drums.

The chance meeting with some local musicians led to them playing on the album. Experienced veteran saxophonist Billy Young, did a splendid job on Sugaree and Let It Roll and accomplished Bluegrass fiddler Jim Hyndman played on Early In The Morning.
